Flow Arts Regionals
These FLOW ARTS REGIONALS are small training camps where you can learn to spin fire & poi, hoop, juggle, do acro-yoga, slack line or aerial silks…they are camp out gatherings over a weekend that allow you to spin for the first time or improve your longtime skillset. These events are loads of fun, you’ll make new friends and learn cool tricks to show off at the big festivals, all the while having a great time.

Flow Arts events are typical very small and produced a few months before. This often means that they don’t set dates until close to the event, but this year many have not come back after the pandemic. I’m emailing and seeking info, let me know if you have updates. This year there are a few overseas events that looked fun and exciting, so I included them.
There is a great Facebook Group for the Flow Arts Community with lots of info about whats going on and it is very active! Check it out HERE.

FLOW FEST FT LAUDERDALE
January 18, 2026 Ft Lauderdale, Florida
Flow Fest returns to downtown Fort Lauderdale to kick off our 15th year of Flow Arts, Fun & Family – Friendly Festivities! Expect wonderous shenanigans and magical vibes at Flow Fest 2025- our theme this year is Whimsy! Get ready to get down and get PLAYFUL! Offering over 50+ workshops in circus arts, dance and yoga, this event is FREE to attend, and perfect fun for all ages- young and old are invited to JOIN THE CIRCUS without RUNNING AWAY! Joining us this year we have a very special musical guest: FUTURE JOY, and some of the best Circus, Flow Arts, Dance and Yoga instructors from across the US.
THE HOOP JAWN
February 7-8, 2025 Philadelphia, PA – No 2026 Dates
The Mid-Atlantic’s biggest hula hoop festival is back and bigger than ever! Join us for the second annual Hoop Jawn, happening right here in Philadelphia, the City of Hooperly Love! This year’s two-day celebration will be packed with even more workshops, contests, live performances, raffles, and of course, tons of hula hoop fun.

MONDO JUGGLING & UNICYCLE FESTIVAL
February 13-15, 2026 St. Paul, Minnesota
MONDO is the largest, annual gathering of jugglers, unicyclers and yo-yo enthusiasts in the Midwest, averaging 500-700 participants each year. We are fortunate to have some of the most talented people in each discipline attend MONDO on a regular basis. The highlight of the weekend is our public show, which traditionally features some awesome talent from a variety of disciplines.
THE CHEESLANDIA HOOP AFFAIR
February 20-21, 2026 Madison, Wisconsin
Event creator and longtime Madison hooper Danielle Lee had a dream of bringing people together to celebrate the joy of hooping. She had also been telling people to visit and eat cheese with her for years. Since Danielle is a cofounder of Madison Circus Space, a 24/7 circus arts facility and nonprofit, she knew the perfect place to hold a Wisconsin based hoop convention. Cheeselandia Hoop Affair was born! In its first year, the event drew people from 30 different states, as well as Canada and Germany.
IGNIGHT FLOW RETREAT
March 28, 2026 Vacation Isle, San Diego, California
IgNight is Flow Retreat & Celebration in Southern California produced by SkyFire Arts & funded by StormLight Dream Foundation, a 501c3 nonprofit. Our event is designed to provide a fun & educational community environment for anyone who is interested in enhancing their life experience and improving performance through Flow Arts & Science. People who feel empowered & connected naturally take care of the world around them, so our workshops & presentations include the science on how to attain Flow States, the Flow Art of wielding dance props, along with the most fun & profitable ways to keep our planet beautiful. FLOWSTORM REVIVAL
March 26-30, 2026 Austin, Texas
Flowstorm, the world’s first Flow Arts & Sustainability festival. Held on a sustainable farm and eco-village on the outskirts of Austin, TX, this magical weekend of camping and learning includes flow workshops and performances by some of the world’s best flow artists, workshops on permaculture, organic gardening, and natural building, live music and art, and much more. Our goal is to cross-pollinate regenerative disciplines and create a truly sustainable flow culture!
TUSCON JUGGLING FESTIVAL
April 2-5, 2026 Tuscon, Arizona
his event will be our 16th festival! It’s an informal 3-day event held at Catalina State Park on the north side of Tucson. Accommodations will be camping primarily, although there are some hotels relatively close by. The festival operates entirely by donation, however the park requires a small camping fee. Plenty of time to juggle, hike, juggle, eat, and juggle some more. If you plan on attending it would help us greatly if you email info@tucsonjuggling.org with an idea of how many people will be here and your estimated arrival and departure dates.
FLAME FESTIVAL
April 10-13, 2025 Washington, Georgia – No 2026 Dates Yet
Flame Festival is the Southeast’s regional gathering of Flow Artists to share knowledge and play together. It is part of an emerging network of festivals that feature Flow Arts workshops all day (around 100 over the weekend), and a large fire-dancing circle with music into the night. The Flow Arts include fire-dancing, poi, staff, hula-hoop, juggling, dance, fans, whips, and whatever else you can imagine that gets you into a state of flow. Festival participants consistently leave full inspiration and new ideas for deepening their own practice of Flow, and connected to new friends in the community. Light the fires of passion, connectivity, and expression!

This allows novice participants the option of sampling different skills sets and styles, and maintains the rigor of depth within each form for expert dancers looking to sharpen their skills.
CASCADE JUGGLING FESTIVAL
May 9-11, 2025 Bellingham, Wash. – No 2026 Dates Yet
Come juggle, spin, flow your way to our gathering of prop-manipulating circus artists from the Salish Sea and beyond at the Bellingham Circus Guild studio. All-levels, all-ages workshops to be offered throughout the weekend with balls, clubs, rings, hoops, poi, staff, and other props, as well as related art forms like flexibility, dance, and performing. For spectators, an invitational revue will feature top-notch talent on Saturday evening in a not-to-be-missed variety show!
KINETIC FIRE
May 14-17, 2026 College Corner, Ohio
We had over 400 individual classes to choose from in 2024!! We have been talking to attendees for the past few years trying to get an idea of what you want to see in workshops at flow events. This year we wanted to take action on that input; we took extra steps to ensure our selection process was informed by the community. By talking in person and conducting polls online, we asked what attendees want to see in terms of props, class lengths, and total number of workshops. From that data, we prioritized workshop slots based on demand while still maintaining a diverse and well-rounded schedule. As always, we had a highly competitive applicant pool!

WILDFIRE RETREAT
May 22-25, 2026 Ashford, Conn.
WildFire is the East Coast’s premier spinning and fire arts training camp. Our core missions are to spread the spinning arts and build community connections among spinning artists. Each of our events offers a diverse selection of over 100 classes on poi, hoop, dance, teaching, safety, business, performance, drumming… and so much more. It is a “camping” style retreat, where all meals and hot showers are provided. WildFire is the perfect spot for you to share, grow, discover, and learn with our spinning and fire arts community. This event is not open to the public or non-spinning artist (beginners are very welcome).

The Boulder Juggling Club presents the 18th annual Boulder Juggling Festival! Our mission is to provide a safe and welcoming space to gather, share skills, gain inspiration, and express the wonderful art form of juggling and flow arts. Nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Colorado Rockies, we will be hosting a wide variety of workshops, juggling games, open gym, a glow jam, and renegade show and a public circus show at the Boulder Circus Center. Each day there is an AM and PM workshop for 2 hours with 6 or 7 choices. All levels are welcome and we always have classes for newer students. The camp is drug, alcohol and marijuana free and we love having families and kids join us too…!

Camp for 3 nights with lucious Blue Lagoons and waterfalls while enjoying dozens of flow, fire, and wellness workshops. Take dozens of workshops on different Flow props like hooping, fans, silk fans, poi, dragon staff, fire eating, contact staff, and more. Most classes will be equipped with the prop you need! So whether you have the prop or not, you can participate in the class. If you like the prop, you will even have the option to purchase it to take home and continue your practice! Between flow classes, enjoy powerful holistic workshops like sonic neural breathwork and kundalini yoga. In the evening the instuctors that taught during the day will put on a mesmerizing fire performance showcase talent show over the lagoon!
