The #PermacultureActionDay at the Gill Tract Farm this past Saturday and Sunday brought 500 people from the Fox Theatre The Polish Ambassador show in Oakland out to plant a children’s garden, seed farm rows, sheet mulch a new area, build a meditation/yoga space, work the biodynamic beds….AND take back the piece of the land with a planned development to turn it into a big box corporate grocery store and parking lot, and instead turned it into a #RealFarmersMarket and Community Farm.
