Burning Man has opened up fundraising for art projects for this year’s Radical Ritual themed gathering. There are art cars and climbable sculptures….just a few at this point, but lots more soon to come…I saw one where a small crew of artists will be locked up inside a black box for the entire week of the festival. “They will create a virtual Burning Man on the inside walls without ever viewing the outside, just based on what visitors tell them”. Now that doesn’t sound at all fun to me! There is a very cool climbing sculpture called Pentaphilia that perked my interest….The photo at the top of the newsletter is an art car that looks like a great one to be part of.
