A Sustainable Environment: Envision Festival 2019
Envision Festival is rooted in deep environmental standards that grow past a simple mindset and intentionally blossom into our surrounding ecosystem; all while supporting surrounding communities, teaching greener approaches and simultaneously throwing an epic party. This year, we have been nominated for “Outstanding Green Event of 2018” at 2018 FestX Awards, and we are honored to uphold such a title and to be recognized for our environmentally conscious initiatives.
What is environmental sustainability and why is it important? …..

On a gorgeous weekend in mid-May, something intentionally beautiful blossomed in a tucked away region of the southern Appalachias just outside of Asheville, North Carolina, as hundreds of eco-conscious and community minded individuals converged for Kinnection Campout. [REPOST] Everfest put together this article – its lots of fun! by Marcus Barnes

As festival culture becomes more ingrained into mainstream society, businesses will of course direct their marketing and ideas towards festival lovers. That means lots of gadgets and products designed for those who’ll be camping, or spending a day at one of the many events that occur all over the world.
Some people like to have a back-to-basics experience when they’re at a festival: no-frills, no gadgets, just a tent, a sleeping bag and the bare essentials. Others go to the opposite extreme, bringing everything including the kitchen sink with them, or showing off with an array of useless gear. Most of us float somewhere in the middle of those two ends of the spectrum, wanting some comfort and convenience but also happy to engage in a challenging, enriching experience.
Love this clip from Pacific Fire Gathering last weekend, posted by DJ Nevers. PFG is a small retreat, just 1-300 people, to share skills in fire spinnng, poi, juggling, hooping and all sorts of Flow Arts…to learn new tricks, take classes, train together in a sweet outdoor environment for 3 days. See our Flow Arts Calendar for gatherings like this near you….
